Avon Cottages has been a part of the Outer Banks community since 1954, offering a simple, relaxing way to enjoy one of the Outer Banks' most cherished beach destinations. Passed down through generations, our family has proudly maintained this property for over 70 years, always with one mission in mind: to give every guest a warm, affordable, and memorable experience by the sea.
Our cottages are cozy, practical, and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, offering families, couples, and friends a place to slow down, reconnect, and soak up the natural beauty of Hatteras Island. Whether you're walking to the Avon Pier, cooking up a meal in your kitchen, or simply listening to the waves from your porch, we want you to feel at home.
As a family-run business, we get to know our guests, and many come back year after year. We love hearing your stories, meeting your kids (and your dogs!), and being part of your vacation traditions. It means the world to us.
