Avon Cottages offers 7 Oceanfront Cottages with a spectacular view that you can enjoy from the hot tub on your private balcony! We also have 7 Semi-Oceanfront, and 11 Oceanside cottages all with great views and private balconies. All cottages have full and well-equipped kitchens, central heat and air, televisions, and free WiFi. Sheets, towels and linens are not provided, except in units 101-108 (one bedroom efficiencies.) Each house has a cookout grill, laundry facilities and offer very easy access to our pristine beaches. Avon Cottages is located in the heart of Avon. Several of the island’s best restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a major grocery store. We are a quarter of a mile away from the Avon Fishing Pier. Our cottages are only 6 miles away from the historical Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and protected Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Famous kiteboarding windsurfing and beautiful sunsets on the Pamlico Sound are just 4 miles away. Hatteras Island is also well known for being closest on the East Coast to the Gulf Stream, inshore and offshore fishing docks are a short drive away. Our central location on the island makes all of Cape Hatteras’ best features and activities easily reached!
